An ordained minister, Kathy Gilbert Taylor, CRC, advocates for individuals with disabilities and serves as a volunteer for several ministries. She earned a master's degree in rehabilitation counseling. Kathy also taught high school English, drama, and journalism and worked as an editor. Prior to teaching, Kathy spent several years in the Air Force, first at the Air Force Academy Chapel and then in special forces at Hurlburt Field. Kathy has also been a Guardian ad Litem and a foster parent. She lives in Florida with her husband Robert and their toy fox terriers.
